Getting started

How do I add my first pet?

When you first open the app, you'll be guided through setting up a pet profile. You can add your pet's name, species, breed, age, weight, and activity level. You can also add a photo and any health conditions.

How does the photo meal tracking work?

Tap the camera button on the home screen and take a photo of your pet's meal. Our AI analyzes the image to identify the food and estimate portions and calories. You can review and adjust the results before saving.

Can I track multiple pets?

Yes! You can add as many pets as you'd like and switch between them easily on the home screen.

Sync & sharing

How does iCloud sync work?

Your pet's data syncs automatically across all your Apple devices signed in with the same Apple ID. Make sure iCloud is enabled in your device Settings.

Can I share my pet with family members?

Yes. You can share a pet profile with family members so everyone can log meals, activities, and medications. Open your pet's profile, tap Share, and invite someone via their Apple ID.

Why isn't my data syncing between devices?

First, make sure both devices are signed into the same Apple ID and have iCloud enabled. Try pulling to refresh on the home screen. If issues persist, contact us.

Notifications & reminders

How do I set up feeding reminders?

Go to your pet's profile and add feeding times. The app will send gentle reminders at those times so you never miss a meal.

Notifications aren't showing up

Check that notifications are enabled for Pet Nutrition Tracker in your device Settings → Notifications. Also make sure Focus modes aren't silencing the app.

Subscriptions & billing

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Pet Nutrition Tracker and tap Cancel.

Can I restore a previous purchase?

Yes. Open the app, go to Settings → Subscription, and tap Restore Purchases.

I was charged but don't have access

Try tapping Restore Purchases in Settings. If that doesn't work, email us with your receipt and we'll sort it out right away.

Privacy & data

Is my pet's data private?

Yes. Your data is stored in your own iCloud account, and we do not have access to it. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete all my data?

You can delete individual pets from within the app at any time. To delete your account entirely, email us at feedback@petainutritiontracker.com and we'll take care of it.
